Renergie Renewables was founded on the expertise, knowledge, and 30 years of experience of our founder, Chris Wright.
Chris began at a young age, around 15 years old, working in his father’s heating spares business. Assisting with the business on weekends and working with boiler engineer customers as a labourer, it’s safe to say that heating is in his blood.
In 1994, the heating spares business expanded into air conditioning heat pumps, an area in which Chris quickly developed a keen interest. He was self-taught, using various textbooks and trial and error while repairing a rental fleet of mobile air conditioners. This eventually led to installing split and multi-split air conditioning systems.
He inevitably enrolled at Eastleigh College, where he achieved an NVQ in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Installation and Maintenance.
By 2000, Chris began working for Trane, one of the top three chiller companies in the world, where he gained valuable knowledge of commercial and industrial water-based chiller and boiler systems.
In 2003, Chris founded his first company, specialising in commercial air conditioning installations, including projects for hotels, large commercial offices, and high-end domestic properties.
Chris’s passion and drive for engineering and aesthetic perfection, led him to become a specialist domestic installer for high-end properties. He installed systems for sheikhs, oligarchs, and other elite, wealthy VIPs in areas such as Ascot, Sunningdale, Weybridge, and Windsor, including gated communities like St George’s Hill.
Fast forward to 2023, after a brief sabbatical, Renergie Renewables was born.
The renewable energy industry had finally developed the right products, with the right quality, to meet Chris’s exacting standards for his solutions.
Chris has since undergone the necessary training, certification, and accreditation to achieve MCS certification in both heat pumps and solar PV.
